| A year-round, 6-year program of agriculture is offered in the Jasper School District. The instructional program consists of 14 courses offered on a two-year rotation. The program begins with agricultural literacy courses that provide an opportunity for all middle school students to learn about food, fiber, and natural resources. The first and second high school courses build basic skills and knowledge in careers, plants, animals, mechanics, SAE, and leadership. The advanced courses build on the prerequisite courses. They include SAE and leadershipwhile focusing on mechanics, horticulture, economics, and plant/animal sciences.
